Students ages 14-18: Spend a week this summer July 7-12 with the most unbelievable faculty finding your passion for music at jazz camp. Whether you play a traditional jazz instrument in a big band, want to sing your heart out, or join our amazing jazz strings program, jazz camp is a life changing experience. With a faculty to student ratio of 4:1, extensive studies in jazz theory, big bands, combos, electives, masterclasses and so much more including 3 culminating performances, this both fun and intensive week will push you to be an incredibly versatile musician.

With overnight lodging for out-of-town students at the nearby USCB campus, financial and merit-based scholarships from the Junior Jazz Foundation and a faculty / staff made up of both award-winning jazz educators and professional musicians, you will find the Hilton Head Jazz Camp to be a place for every musician ages 14-18 to grow. Students who need a prescription medication administered during camp hours (day or overnight) may require additional documentation. These medications would be in the possession of our resident director or director of student life.

Overnight lodging is available for students 14+ who attend the Hilton Head Jazz Camp as part of our $1099 all-inclusive lodging and tuition package. Our resident director and resident staff extend the HHJC experience into the evening with fun evening activities, additional performances and the ever famous 'beach night'. All students have their own room as part of a four room suite with a common space and two bathrooms. Our partnership with USCB, located only 15 minutes from the main campus of the Hilton Head Jazz Camp provides a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our out-of-town students. 2025 Hilton Head Jazz Camp Waiver Form

The 2025 Hilton Head Jazz Camp sponsored by the Junior Jazz Foundation is committed to conducting its recreation programs and activities in the safest manner possible. Participants and parents/guardians registering their child must recognize that there is a possible risk of injury when choosing to participate in camp activities. The Junior Jazz Foundation continually strives to reduce such risks and insists that all participants follow safety rules and instructions.

The Junior Jazz Foundation does not carry medical insurance for injuries sustained by participants. The cost of such insurance would make program fees prohibitive. Therefore, each person registering themselves or a family member for the Hilton Head Jazz Camp should review their own health insurance policy for coverage. The absence of health insurance coverage does not make the Junior Jazz Foundation responsible for payment of medical expenses.

Release of Claims
As a participant in the Hilton Head Jazz Camp, I agree to assume full risk of any injuries, including death, damages or loss regardless of severity, which my child/ward may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with the Camp. I agree to waive and relinquish all claims I or my child/ward may have as a result of participating in the Camp against the Junior Jazz Foundation and its directors, officers, trustees, agents, servants and employees.

I do hereby fully release and discharge the Junior Jazz Foundation and their respective directors, officers, trustees, agents, servants and employees from any and all claims from injuries, including death, damage or loss which I or my child/ward may have or which may accrue to me on account of my participation.

I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend The Junior Jazz Foundation and their directors, officers, trustees, agents, servants and employees from any and all claims from injuries, including death, damages and losses sustained by me or my child/ward or arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with the activities of the program. I do hereby fully release and discharge the Junior Jazz Foundation and their respective directors, officers, trustees, agents, servants and employees from any and all claims resulting from loss or damage of personal property.

Permission to Secure Treatment
In the event of an emergency, I authorize The Junior Jazz Foundation employees to secure treatment (from licensed hospital, physician, and/or medical personnel) necessary for my child’s/ward’s care and I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services required.

Photo/Video Policy
All participants agree that any photography and/or videography taken while participating in the Hilton Head Jazz Camp may be used for promotional purposes.

Health and Safety / Covid-19 Policy
I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Covid-19 and other infectious diseases. I further acknowledge that the Junior Jazz Foundation and Hilton Head Christian Academy cannot guarantee that I will not become infected with the Covid-19 and other infectious diseases. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Covid-19 and other infectious diseases may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, faculty, staff, students and their families. I voluntarily send my child to this summer camp opportunity provided by the Junior Jazz Foundation and acknowledge that there is a risk of exposure to the Covid-19 and other infectious diseases.

I hereby release and agree to hold the Junior Jazz Foundation and Hilton Head Christian Academy harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the camp, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from the Junior Jazz Foundation . I understand that this release discharges the Junior Jazz Foundation from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the Camp with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from the Junior Jazz Foundation . This liability waiver and release extends to the Camp together with all faculty, staff and students.

Student Conduct Policy
I acknowledge that students at the Hilton Head Jazz Camp are expected to follow the HHJC code of conduct and any violations may result in the suspension of the student from attending camp without a refund. All detailed of conduct expectations will be sent out in the Camp information packet.

I have read and understand the aforementioned program details, waiver, and release of all claims and permission to secure treatment, and all information supplied is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
